Four things you will meet in most Mancro bags
Not every bag has all four, and the card for each one says which. These are the parts people write to us about.

A padded sleeve, sized in inches
The laptop compartment on the work backpacks stops at 15.6 inches, which is a number and not a promise: a 16-inch machine with a case on it will not go in. It opens on its own zip so the machine comes out at the security line without the rest of the bag coming with it.

Three dials, not a safe
The combination lock sits on the pull of the main zip and leaves the factory set to 0-0-0. Change it before the first trip. It buys you the twenty seconds an opportunist in a cafe will not spend, and it is not a substitute for keeping the bag on the same side of the table as you.

A socket, and your own power bank
The charging port is a short cable threaded through the wall of the bag to a pocket inside. Put a power bank in that pocket and you can charge a phone without opening anything. Leave the pocket empty and the port does nothing at all, which is the single most common thing people find out the hard way.

A lining that expects a spill
Bottle bags and cooler bags are lined with foil-faced insulation and wipe out with a cloth. On the outside, water-resistant means rain between the car and the office, not a wet bag left on a beach for an afternoon.

05Before you pick a size
Five measurements worth taking before you order from Mancro
Every card here prints the outside dimensions of the bag. These are the five numbers to hold them against.
Your laptop with its case on
Measure the machine as you carry it, case and all. A 15.6-inch laptop in a hard shell is often 16 inches wide, and the sleeve does not stretch.
Your bottle, neck and all
Wide-neck bottles are the ones that jam. The cooler bags hold four or six standard bottles up to nine ounces; a tall wide-neck bottle takes two of those slots.
The stroller bar
The diaper backpacks come with clip straps rather than fixed hooks, so measure the bar before you assume they will close around it.
The tallest pill bottle you own
Medicine organizers are sold by the height of the loops inside: a 90-day bottle is taller than a 30-day one and decides which bag works.
The overhead bin you fly with
The carry-on garment bag folds once to 22 inches, which is a domestic bin. A five-suit bag is a different animal and travels in the hold.

Who Mancro is

What does Mancro make?
Soft cases, and the range is wider than the backpack most people arrive for. Does your Mancro backpack charge a phone on its own?
It carries the charge; it does not make it. The port on the side panel is wired to a pocket inside the bag, and that pocket is where your own power bank goes. With the pocket empty the socket does nothing, which is worth knowing before the first commute rather than after it.
Are Mancro bags waterproof?
Water-resistant, which is a smaller and more honest word. The shells are 600D polyester with a water-resistant coating and the seams are reinforced: rain between a car and an office, a spilled bottle in a footwell. A bag left out in a downpour for an afternoon will let water through, and we would rather print that here than in a warranty argument.
